Decided to do another one because I liked doing the first one. The biggest thing that stood out to me from this particular presser is something that I have been screaming on the timeline all season. Jordan and Corey need to be attached at the hip. I NEED their minutes to mirror each other!! Very early in the season I noticed that they have really good on court chemistry and they honestly just thrive when they play together. Just like Jordan said they play at a faster pace when Jordan is running the offense which is how they both like to play.

We all know Jordan is extremely quick and from watching Corey this year he is a great catch and shoot, shooter. Perfect match, also, the type of player that is Corey is with his play style has similarities to Klay who, of course Jordan played with. I do believe that is why those two playing together has been so seamless. With the starters, they do not play quick. In my opinion Tyus is a good PG but he likes to slow things down which is part of the reason he has low turnovers, that's not the style Jordan thrives in. l'd prefer to see Jordan and Tyus separate in games as much as possible.

I don't think that the solution to their issues was to take Jordan out of the starting unit. This team really needs to share the ball then, of course, after the initial timeout separating Tyus and Jordan so they both can be on ball adequate minutes of their times on the court. The second unit last night Really showed the epitome of team ball and what happens when people that thrive under the same conditions are playing together. Long but my little post game/presser analysis

Once again it’s like your taking my thoughts & opinions from my brain & articulating it well. Jordan & Corey both being out each others best assets when they are on the court together like Steph & Jordan as well as Klay & Jordan. I want them to play together more often and I hope to see it this season. Another great post!
