Haven't done one in a while but here's a . My focus for this thread is KYP, Know Your Personnel. Now I'm just someone who played and now just watches basketball and I have my entire life. I also have a BA of Education, I majored in sports management. Something that should be important when drafting or trading for a player is their strengths and weaknesses and how those mesh with the current construction of the roster and or the future goals of the team.

Jordan is a polarizing player, his name brings all the clicks and views, he's exciting to watch because you never know what moves you will see from him. Most importantly Jordan is a champion, one who heavily contributed to the chip in 2022, so of course teams will want him. So when you acquire a player in general, it should be more than that, it should be how you intend to utilize them and how they can help the team.

Part of that is playing a player in the position to be successful as well as playing them next to players whose strengths are counteract their weaknesses (of course working on developing those weaknesses too).

As the team I would think they would know from the beginning Jordan thrives on ball, he's used to GSW who runs plays and sets screens for him as well. Not saying the wizards should copy and paste GSW style of play but you've seen him succeed why play him in the wrong position. Yes Jordan can play SG but he mentioned in this clip his first year when

GSW they played him mostly SG it had a similar start to this year. If it ain't broke don't fix it. You can pull film and if you KYP you would see how to play him to get the best out of him. Jordan has also stated several times, (if you don't want to look at film, as an org you should KYP, as fans of that org, if you're too lazy to check his history) he's better on ball. It connects me back to people attributing his success after ASW to being on the bench.

The difference is he's been the PG, he's also still spent a lot of time with the 1st unit (before the injuries) due to hisgravity. He's always face guarded by the top defender on the opposing team, double teamed and sometimes triple in the paint. I've watched every game besides 1 and I see it.The 1st unit struggles without Jordan for that reason... which is why even with him being in the 2nd unit he Magically spent a lot of time with the starters.

It's extremely frustrating as a fan because had he been a priority all year, this year would've been amazing for him, All Star Level. Though I try to go back to the Bible verse Jordan mentioned in February, John 13:7 "You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand." It's been ROUGH but every situation has some sort of lesson. Jordan has been a team player all year, has grown on literally every aspect of his game so as a fan l'm leaving here with something. Anyways, l've mentioned it before, he's sacrificed his game for the team, gets slandered every single day due to that. Everyone that doubted or turned on him, all he needed was an opportunity to play his natural position. I don't know why y'all act like y'all don't know who HE is! Jordan is a whole champion and was in his 3rd year!! I'm so excited for all the Poole Parties we will get to experience and to continue to watch JP's growth.
